General Information
Passion fruit / granadilla is a tropical climbing fruit belonging to the passifloracea family. It comes from Mexico and grows in the tropical areas of Central and South America.
It is a round fruit, protected by a fragile orange peel, it has a sweet, gelatinous pulp full of black seeds.
It is considered a fairly exotic fruit, and Colombia has become the main exporter to European markets.
