The gulupa, is an exotic fruit belonging to the passifloracea family, it is native to the North of Brazil, the South of Colombia and North of Peru. It is a woody and climbing plant, with pink and reddish flowers known as the crown of Christ or the passion flower. Its fruit is round and can vary between green, yellow or purple, depending on its degree of maturity.
